About me

I support people to overcome challenges, make positive changes and achieve their goals. If you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I can help you find a way to navigate your challenges and move forward. I offer a warm, safe and confidential setting where you can process your emotions with respect and support.

I am a professional counsellor and have completed training in multiple therapeutic approaches, which means that I can offer you integrative therapy sessions, tailored to meet your individual needs.

I am empathic and committed to providing a safe and accepting space where you can express your feelings and process them, within a supportive and trusted therapeutic relationship. I will provide you with a confidential and respectful environment. I have a non-judgemental approach and respect your autonomy and individuality.

My professional career started in Human Resources, then continued into the Recruitment sector, and then onto Support Services. Life events led me to seek the support of a therapist, and ultimately led me to make the decision to train as a therapist myself. I have seen the value of therapeutic intervention and how life changing it can be, and I want to be able to facilitate that change in others.

I am now a fully qualified counsellor, working as an Integrative Counsellor and Coach. I am an individual member of the BACP and follow their ethical framework. I am also an accredited member of the NCPS, and use their guidelines to underpin my practice. I am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS certificate, and have regular clinical supervision.

I have worked for a charity delivering counselling to adults with a wide range of mental health issues, and I have worked as a volunteer counsellor under the local authority, supporting parents through court proceedings, the fostering and the adoption process, and promoting lifelong positive changes.
